English G. Morris, Jr. founded the Academy in 1976 to provide a professional, sensitive and encouraging atmosphere of study, a well balanced curriculum, and a challenging standard of musical instruction.

English Morris has always believed the presence of quality teachers to be the number one priority of the Academy. He carefully chooses faculty that are educated in music, have extensive personal experience in their instruments, and demonstrate a sincere interest in teaching music to others.
